I wanna make the window fixed.
not sizable. and i want to prevent the use to maximize or minimize by clicking on the top border of the window (Form)
How?

Form --> Go to properties --> Borderstyle --> select either none or fixed single

i don't wanna use None.
and the Fixed Single...when u DClick on the top bar it will automatically will maximiz

Set border style to fixed single and set the property maximizeBox = False

Okay... So what part of making a chat application are you stuck with. A chat application is a big project and you are not going to get an answer to such a vague question as that in a forum. Be specific! Make an attempt yourself, and then, if you get stuck, as for help on a specific aspect of your application. We are not going to tell you how to create your application.

The size of the network doesn't change the complexity of the application. A chat application is essentially a peer-to-peer system communicating between two nodes on a network. It will still function the same way whether the network as a whole has 3 nodes or 3 million nodes.

So, you need a central server to take note of everyone as the log in and out of the system and their connection details. It also responds to each client when clients connect to tell them their contact lists and who is online or not from their contacts list and so on.

Next you will need to write a client application that can can connect to the central server. It also needs to act as a mini-server in its own right so it can receive message from other users. It also needs to act as a client that can connect to other clients (or clients that are acting as servers).

Are you seeing how complex this is yet? It really isn't the sort of question that can be answered in a forum post.

Socheat, try to check this article[^]. And I also suggest you know some basic concept about networking also. It would help you to build an application relate to networking. If possible, try to purchase and read this book[^].

Try to find your friend or your relationship who has a credit card.

But remeber that, this book does not teach you about vb.net step by step. It assume that you already know well with vb.net. You should have a basic knowledge with vb.net then just fill up your knowledge with networking programming.

I intend to build report by Crystal Report in VB.NET. But I don't know how to passing parameter to report.
For example: I want to select condition in the form, and then depend that condition was selected I will make sql command and passing to the report.

your question cannot be answered in a nutshell.rather suggesting to read in net.There are plenty articles about PULL and PUSH method of crystal report on net.you should read them .Here is a good one

How to Start & stop the TIMER(). During the progarm Execution timer starts and i can't able to stop timer when working with the different forms. i want to control the timer.

Is there anyway to do it.

first set the properties of timer such as it's interval.
Write the navigation code on timer_tick event.
