The Code Project is going to write some bits in C++/CLI?
And for the sake of your book I hope those 458 No votes up above are countered with many more Yes votes

Yes, we use C++/CLI for most of our apps

What's the overall percentage of managed and unmanaged code that you use in your applications?
Are you satisfied with CLI performance?
We have to develop a new application and we're deciding in wich language we'll do it so we are trying to take impressions from others.

I tried it a few times, it sure looks cool. I think it might be even usefull for those cases that I need unmanaged code. But I like C# more..

True, but I don't program the IIS api
Although VC is the only option, it becomes a much more pleasant option with C++/CLI.

Mwah, I don't care if the editor shows more or less detail.
It's all a matter of knowing where to look and what methods and classes to use

Okay, nice. This survey is about C++/CLI though.

Which he responded to by stating that he isn't using it. The response is still valid.
And I use C++ at home on my personal projects. And C# at work. Haven't had the need to engage, although I might since they cleaned up the syntax.
This statement is false.

I don't really "prefer" one or another, but have written a lot of code in MC++, and it really pissed me off when they broke the syntax. People who were complaining about MC++ were really only looking for an excuse to switch to C# - none of them are using C++/CLI.
Anyway, these days it is just native C++ (mostly on Linux) for me.
