I am using MSChart control in my asp dot net project. but i do not know how to print chart after it display on page.

Try adding an ImageButton and OnClientClick event you can pop-up print dialogue box using java-script. Just change the ImageUrl to the proper path.
i.e.
<asp:ImageButton ID="cmdPrint" runat="server" ImageUrl="~/Images/Icons/printer.png"
ToolTip="Print" Style="text-align: right" OnClientClick="window.print();" />

Found this at the top of the list .NET TWAIN image scanner[^]. It should prove a good start point.
Otherwise there are plenty more examples a short google away.

I am new to web programming and I started working with Asp.net 3.5 vwd express edition with ajax tool kit.For about a week now I screened most of articles on use of javascript in asp.net and following is suggested.
1. Use external script file and refer in masterpage and call from content pages by registerclientsciptblock
On Master page it refered as follows"

All my pages are using ajax controls or extenders and i observe the folllowing.
When I use method-1 and try register the code block, the image placed in a panel for controlling collapsable panel do not load.
Method-2 is not working at all I created a function to refer in custom validation control which would not fire
Only mehod-3 is working which again has limitation for using long functions
I request an expert guidence on above subject with known issues and limitations if any.Preferably wih a working example on method-1 or method-2

In method 1 it is unnecessary to use RegisterClientScript in the content pages since the script is already included as part of the master page. Whatever source told you to do it that way was utterly daft.
If the script has been proper;y included then your functions should be available for use.

Hi,
I noticed since a couple of days that after a AsyncPostBack, the UpdateProgress doesn't disappear. It seems to happen only on IE, in Firefox it closes correctly after the AsyncPostBack.
The updatepanel I am using used to work perfectly till recently, the website is still under development and I don't have a clue what is causing this problem.
Anyone came across a similar problem? Or does anyone can help me finding the problem?.

Nevermind, I found out that I had tag that wasn't closed properly.
Instead of <b>text<b> it should be <b>text</b>
Is there a tool that can be used to find out this kind of errors?

1- Wrap you image inside a hyperlink and set the target of the hyperlink.
2- Handle the click event of the image and using javascript open a new window.

There are URL arguments to pass to web page some text params but is there a way to pass to web site some chunks of binary data about 50-100K in size?
Is there some API that allow to pass such data from custom client not IE browser.
E.g. there is custom application that send to server binary data and recieves some results as binary data also.

You can't have 100k worth of data in a URL. There are limits to how long a URL can be. I don't think that all browsers have standardized on that number, but I think anything over 1000 characters is probably going to cause issues.
You can save the binary information in a file and do a file upload. Then the browser will handle conversions for you. ASP.Net has large chunks of binary data that it passes back and forth called ViewState that uses encryption and base64 encoding. In C# you can certainly write a program that uses WebRequest objects to build a request from scratch.
In general though it doesn't sound like you need the HTTP protocol. It would probably add a lot of overhead.
