Hi,
My team is creating a social networking website.My task is to create a Messenger where user can add user,find friends and add him and also with a friend he can chat.
I have no idea of how to create this in ASP.NET.
Please help...............

you were given some links in your previous message asking for the same exact thing. Read the links and make a little effort on your own part. Unless you are planning on giving somebody here some money for it, most are not simply going to just give you code for an entire application.
Do some research, actually WRITE SOME CODE, and when you get stuck on a specific part, ask a question in regards to that part and somebody will more than likely help you.

Hello!
I wish to know this technology a little more. Most people recommend books which teach how to use ASP .NET. I would prefer to read a book which:
- doesn't teach me how to use ASP .NET controls -- I have API documentation and tutorials
- doesn't teach me how to program in C# -- I know C#
- doesn't teach me where do I click in VS.
- doesn't teach me how to enable AJAX using ASP .NET AJAX-enbabled controls
- doesn't teach me a complete API
- does teach me how to implement AJAX -- both simple and advanced
- does teach me how does ASP .NET works -- how __VIEWSTATE is implemented and other details, including actually used optimization tricks.
- does teach me these parts of API which requires deeper investigation, like Response and Request properties, but, for God's sake, not damn web controls.
- does teach me elements of javascript and generation of client code by ASP engine.
- does teach me details of communication between client and server (not sth like that "client sends a request to a server and then it goes through these 13 layers and then your code is executed etc. etc.)
- is <200 pages (i am sure it is possible when not waffling)
- doesn't assume that I'm an idiot.
- assumes that I know how to use google and does not explaing everything which is not essential at the moment.
To summarize: I want a book which would be concize and not being a 1000-page cheat-sheet. Which would not switch me to a monkey who would be a great, high-paid ASP .NET developer who doesn't know what is going on. I would like to be able (with an extra effort) to implement my own, simple version of ASP .NET in C++ or C# without referencing ASP-specific libraries.
Do you know a book which meets my requirements?

Probably you can write a book of your own with all the mentioned feature. 
If you wish to learn, have patience, don't depend on a single book. Extract the portions of books, articles, blogs and what so ever you need. Then, read and understand them in your own way.

I think a better idea is for you to actually write one for yourself, your requirements are specific and i would guess there's no writer out there who's already certain of such a fancy demand!

I have a page that generates an expense report based on user input. I get the file to generate correctly and saved on the network, but I also provide an option that after the file is created that it is allowed to be saved locally (downloaded). The Excel file is generated using the Aspose library:

The following code is what I've been trying to work with, to allow the file to download, based on user posts and tutorials:

However an exception is always thrown. The message is "Thread was being aborted." From what I read this is caused by Response.End and it is safe to ignore. So I've tried the above code without the Try-Catch block and I've also tried changing Response.WriteFile to Response.TransmitFile however the file is never downloaded. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any help.

When he logs in, check if he has a license, if not, redirect him to a page where he can get one...
