On the home page, under some of the tabs, the most recent posts show up dated "1 Jan 00" instead of the proper date.

3 times today, the reply comments I've made to comments on some of my solutions in the Q&A did not get added.
0) I click Reply to a comment
1) then write something
2) click submit
3) The text box dissapears as always however my reply does not appear not even after Ctrl+F5
4) when I try again the then my reply is being added.
I'm not able to reproduce this bug, it just seems to happen sometimes.
I'm using IE8, normally I use IE9 and I've not noticed this bug before so maybe it's just a IE8 issue.
The below question are where I ran into the issue.

No thing at all, the "post comment area" jsut dissapeared like it normally do, but the comment didn't appear didn't page refresh didn't help either.
I know it's not much to go. And I'm back on IE9 now so I'm hoping it's just IE8 playing tricks on me.

It appears to me that if I set 'allow to respond by e-mail' enabled on a post on one of the discussion forums, like C#: that permission is then applied globally: so, I am now getting e-mail notifications of even responses to comments on Q/A questions ... which I don't want.
Is there a way to make 'allow to respond by e-mail' specific to only certain responses, or certain forums ?
Or maybe I'm missing the big picture here, as usual.

While I agree it should be up to you whether or not you want notification emails. I also believe that once you engage in/answer a question you should be open to answer enguiries the inquirer might have to your solution, which might be a bit hard if you're not notified of comments posted to your solution.
I would actually love to be notified when a question, which I've answered or posted a comment on, gets updated. Sometimes a question is not clear and I tell the inquierer so, but I don't get notified when they update the question, unless they write a reply to my comment, which many inqueriers doesn't do.

Your response assumes that I do not check, frequently, to see the current state of Q/A questions that I have commented on, or presented a solution for.
You might examine that assumption 
By the way, my congratulations for the many excellent answers, and comments, you are posting on the Q/A forums !

I'm sorry Bill, it wasn't my intension to say you didn't follow up on your answers/comments. I were just pointing it out as important part, in my opinion, as I've seen a few who are not very good at it.

A user has gone and posted an authors potential email address in a question to the author, which is a no no for obvious reasons.
I think it would be wise to edit the post to the remove the email address. (its an old message)

I was looking at one of the new articles, and noticed in the user bio that they mentioned they had a couple of competition wins.
Clicking on the users profile name to take me there, sure enough the 2 competition results are listed. However, it still doesn't say what they are or provide links to them.
Next was to visit the users article list. There is nothing to suggest which articles won the competitions. They only way to find out I can see, is to visit each article and look for the Winning Medal at the top, or remember which competitions won, and scan each articles date. Not very usable.
So, suggestions;
1) In the biography, competition winning list, link through to the winning article
2) In the users Article List, flag the articles that have won a competition, maybe the medal icon next to article title

This suggestion was marked as fixed, but does not appear to be fixed. I notice:
- Caligula773t has 129,059 reputation points, all
earned accumulated in a very very short time. - The reputation graph does not match the reputation points.
Maybe this is a test user one of the hamsters created?
EDIT: Maybe just found another bug (perhaps already known). I am editing this post, 42 minutes after it was originally posted, and didn't get "[modified]" added to the subject or "last modified on ..." added to the signature.
EDIT 2: Oh, the "[modified]" and signature change were applied, but they now apparently don't show up when I edit the question and click "preview". Is that a bug or intentional?

The last person that skimmed the site the account was removed. Don't know why this one is still active, to remain consistent, it should be canned as well.

On purpose. Doing this fixes a bug that's been bugging (get it? Bugging? Get it??) Luc for ages and allows me to display modified times a little more sensibly while not polluting the message text or subject.

There are two representations of the reputation points within the reputation graph. One is the little key on the top left, which lists the numeric values. The other representation is in the form of the lines. On the left of the graph (the y-axis), there are ticks that indicate reputation points. The largest of those ticks on the graph in question only went up to 80,000 (should have gone at least to 120,000).

I've tried adding one of the RSS feeds on the drop-down on the CP home page to the Sage RSS Firefox extension, and it comes back blank. (http://www.codeproject.com/?cat=4[^]) The online MetroRSS feed mentioned in the Lounge says that the link is invalid.

Ah, OK. I see what's happening: when you hover over the RSS button, the dropdown that lets you pick which topics to display on the home page drops down, making it look like you can pick an RSS feed for each topic. My misinterpretation!
