You would probably find the constant Chocolate demands too greater a burden anyway!

Competition, not burden.
Politicians are always realistically manoeuvering for the next election. They are obsolete as fundamental problem-solvers.

Sorry, I missed the post because October 7 is my birthday!
The most recent October 7th happened to be the 50th occurrence of said birthday.
Congrats!

The virtual machine with Lubuntu make me still able to use my old but perfectly working HP scanner.
That's a little magic to me.

And since they'll make just as much money selling you ink for a new printer as for one that they sold you last year, the budget for new printer driver development is non-existent. As long as they're all penny pinching elephanters it doesn't matter if you rage-quit them for another brand because they'll get just as many new customers incoming from their competitors.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Edit: I found a patch that fixes it from this[^] article.
Is anyone else having trouble with Windows Update for XP? I just restored an old laptop from its factory image, and let it go all night looking for updates.
In the morning, the progress bar was still churning and there was no network activity, and it didn't find any updates.
Is anyone else having trouble getting updates for their XP machines?
I'm looking to make sure my XP machines are all up to date before support is ended.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

I'm not superstitious, but make a dump run and take the 200 pounds of dead weight in blown glass and miscellaneous mishe metal off that old desktop before running the WU wizard.
Oh, and enable automatic software updates. If only for a couple of hours.
Be nice to the dump attendant also.
To reiterate, I'm not superstitious.

Try downloading SP3 and installing it. If this does not work there should be a fix for Windows Update on MS site.
