It's very easy actually. You just add a drop-down with all the currencies and when the user selects one, exchange it! It is called the drop-down methodology for software design and project management.

I finally got round to watching the DVD of the movie Prometheus. The plot seemed to have more holes in it than the proverbial sieve but it compensated by having some rather tasty totty. Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron are not the most well stacked totty but pleasant enough all the same. Theron's character Vickers offered the ship's cap'n a quickie in her quarters but there was nothing to suggest he reported aft as ordered. The lead actress (Rapace) ends up riding off into the sunset in an alien ship with the head of the android tucked safely in a bag. There was no suggestion what she might drink or eat but all alien ships must have a Coke and chocolate-dispensing machine on every level especially those made by Weyland Corporation and Ford in the US.
The Teletubbies had more solid story lines and their characters were more believable and trustworthy. One of the movie's characters who'd been slipped a Mickey Finn containing some toxic DNA seemed to be burned and shot so many times that he must have lived and died at least thrice; that he was suspected of being a serial Lazarus. Popeye was more scary and if it was a prequel to the Alien franchise, then comedy wasn't the way.
I was fortunate that the DVD was off-loaded in the shop for a fiver which was £4 more than it was worth. Yes, the totty was tasty but I can get that on t'internet for free. The special effects were good but they obviously were used to fill in the holes. If anyone wants a copy of the movie you'll find it in the recycling bin outside t'house.

I actually stopped watching it halfway.
It's worse than After Earth, if such a thing is possible.

Regrettably, plot holes bigger than the the size of the film set seem to be de rigueur for SF movies: it's hard to think of one with just small holes, rather than the grand canyons most exhibit.
I suspect it's because story outlines are written by someone who knows SF and has a good idea, and then the director (who doesn't) leads the scriptwriters (who can't) to produce the shooting script the actors ignore...
And then some bleedin' idjit hires Nicolas "Talent Free" Cage to play the lead and pull any semblance of quality out of the project.

The only movies I have seen with Nicolas Cage are National Treasure 1 & 2, both of which I enjoyed watching.

If you want to see a decent modern SF movie without plot holes, from what I can remember, then I would recommend Moon or the Spanish film TimeCrimes if you have not already seen them - they both have a very small cast.
TimeCrimes is the only time paradox movie I have seen where everything actually hangs together.

I found the movie enjoyable. And any missing plot holes I filled-in with my imagination. That made it even better.
I also got inklings of an Aliens relationship.

I had the same idea. To me it was merely a remake of the Alien movies... Don't know if that is good or bad actually?!?!

Hello all,
I've got Serviio installed in our PC (this is a media server that I've plugged into our TV to see films, series, listen to music...).
From time to time I can see a generic DLNA profile in the network (serviio sees it) in a specific IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.194.
Our computer is xxx.xxx.xxx.3
and our TV is xxx.xxx.xxx.2
We have 2 old blackberries 8520 and 9300 that are plugged into our wifi.
I can't find which IP those blackberries get when plugged into the WIFI, but using netscan to find out which devices are plugged into the network is giving me only the TV and the computer.
What would you do to find out to which device this IP address belongs?

Talk to your router: the IP is normally along the lines of 192.168.0.1, 192.168.2.1, or sometimes 192.168.1.1 (Linksys, being a PITA as usual) and that should bring up a webpage which lets you see what is going on.
All the routers I have looked at (Netgear and Belkin) provide a page which should the current connections (wired) and a separate page for current connections (Wireless) which will give you a device name and MAC.
Turning devices off and seeing which disappear is one way to find out which device it is.

Have you tried the built in network map ?
Control panel > network and sharing then at the top > view full map.
So far I noticed even with network discovery turned off that still works.
You can also launch the exe directly but still looking for the name of it again.
you could also run a script or program that will scan ips. like nmap or something similar.

It's not that effective: mine shows my NAS, but doesn't show any wireless devices such as my tablet, Herself's Wii, her 3DS...

No - mine is locked down pretty tight, including MAC addresses being pre-listed before the connection is accepted by the router, so I pretty much know what is and isn't on my home network.
