yeah it feels good but i don't like Microsoft's policy to retake exam every two years to show that you still have the same strength to work on particular platform.

That's a policy now? Hm. I got my certifications to help me get my first programming job but after that I don't see a reason to have them.

don't know for all exams which Microsoft offers but yes to get MCSD certification you need to clear 3 exams and than after every two years you have to clear one exam which have common syllabus for MCSD web application development. so once we clear 3 exams we need to clear this extra exam every two years.
as per written on Microsoft site
