In Google Chrome you can press CTRL + 9 to go to the last tab in browser. I personally love this feature, since I open the Codeproject tabs or the tabs where I am working on at the last index, so any time a new message comes I move to the first tab and come back to the last page pretty easily.

I really love these CTRL + {key} things, because I, personally, don't like shifting to mouse while working with keyboard.

Yup, I like to stick with the keyboard myself.
ctrl+t = new tab
ctrl+n = new window
ctrl+tab = cycle through tabs

I may be in the minority, but I'm comfortable using the mouse along with my keyboard. For zooming, I use Ctrl/MouseWheel.

What if you have 20 tabs open? Ctrl + 8 goes to your eighth tab (and 7 to your seventh etc) but then Ctrl + 9 goes to a tab waay over on the other side if your screen? I don't like it!

Then press CTRL + 8 for the last one and press CTRL + tab for the next one (if that isn't last)

Works with IE too. CTRL 1 takes you to the first tab, CTRL 2 takes you to the second, etc., I'm not sure what happens if you have more than 9 tabs open!
