Come on, these pussies have nothing on the hard men of the 60s and 70s. A time when thieving, lying, b***ering and rogering were prerequisites to get into parliament.

Why is it the party I seem to agree with the most is the party I always thought I'd never vote for [other than UKIP whom I will never vote for].

Good news Nagy! According to the BBC there is no rule on voting when drunk, so there is no need to sober-up for the day hour.

How ver dare you! I always go to the polls sober, I don't want to end up casting a UKIP vote by mistake!

Where I live the options are (listed in the order they will finish);
Whig Party - the incumbent who will win despite sending his wig on a stick to the hustings in his place
UKIP - the landlord of my local and a bloke I like except for his decision to stand for UKIP
Labour - a political faetus who is using this as a training run in the hope of being giving a winnable seat next time
LibDems - a lawyer who claims to be the only one telling the truth, he is so convinced he won't win he is also standing for the council and his own supporters say it is not worth voting for him
Green - I know nothing of him, although he has apparently done well
Class War - slogan "Because all other candidates are f***ing wankers", which is hard to argue with.
Here they all are[^]

The Council election will be over, he will have no further reason to stay away...
So place your bets, Ladies and Gentlemen!
I suspect that it depends what happens:
If he loses, he will check to see if we are taking the Mickey, and return pretending it didn't matter.
If he wins, he will return insisting we bow before his magnificence!
Will he win? Dunno - depends on the number of "Pikies" in Luton he may have recently offended: a vast majority of the electorate, by all reports...
