I got one a few weeks back, but I haven't even activated it yet...

Dig out their contact info, you have a perfect excuse to rip someone a new one so get on the phone and shove it as high as you can go. You want a manager and the web designer bleeding out your hand piece.

Actually I called and explained very nicely that something had gone wrong.
I was told to send an email to the guy that handles those walks, which I did.
Got a reply very soon after that saying he'd contact the guide and try to put me in the correct walk.
I thanked him politely!
I prefer not to rip or bleed anyone if I don't have to
As for the password, I simply changed it to something I'd never use anywhere, something like 123456

Have you reported them for obligatory shaming yet?

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Microsoft demoed Minecraft using the Hololens at E3 this afternoon. Welcome to the future[^].

I want one! ...and I don't even play Minecraft. It seems the Star Trek Holodeck is one step closer.
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

I got a chance to try one during Build in April, and it is a great first step. However the demo videos are a bit misleading as the actual range of view is not that big. You have to be looking right at the hologram to see it, so some holograms get cut off when you hold your head straight and use your eyes to look up, down, left and right. I want to be able to see the holograms in my peripheral vision too, then it will be awesome!
But as I said, a great first step. We are on our way towards holodecks!

The security was interesting too. They make you place your jackets, phones, and any recording devices in a locked locker and then took us to a room across the hallway that had a beautiful view of the city. At one point one of the MS folks suggested taking a picture of the panoramic view. Ha ha... ...some kind of test I guess

Awesome demo, I'm not much of a gamer but I'd like to try this.
New version: WinHeist Version 2.1.1 new web site.
I know the voices in my head are not real but damn they come up with some good ideas!

Watching the demo reminded me of several scenes in Avatar where the show the tree of life in holographic detail. We're getting there eh?

Excellent image! OT: was just thinking of the New Horizons probe, a bit more than a month away from hopefully cool (pun intended) Pluto pics.

If you drive people around all day but they don't pay you, would you have nothing to chauffeur it?
