While Pi is irrational (Proof[^]), it's certainly not 22//7. Of course, anyone who's looked into the curriculum for becoming a certified teacher knows that there's no actual knowledge involved. Just psychobabble and fluff...
But that brings to mind my 7th grade math class, and a teacher who actually knew math. We had a couple dozen electromechanical calculating machines in the back of the room, and the day she told us that one can approximate Pi by dividing 22 by 7, my friend and I set up that division on all of the machines, but didn't press the execute key until the bell rang at the end of class. We ran through the machines and started them all at about the same moment and ran out the door. Next class we learned that it took about 15 minutes for them all to settle down.

The Chinese family of three on the back of Plai Somjai (that's the elephant's name) have been rescued after three hours in the forest after Plai gored his mahout to death and ran off [^].
The story now reads that Plai saw another mahout who had abused him in the past, became enraged, shook his head, causing his mounted mahout to fall off, then gored his mahout on the ground.
I'll bet that one's traumatized Chinese family.
