One day a young Indian gets curious about the names of his family.
Child: Dad, where do our names come from?
Father: Whenever a child is born, I sit atop the mountain and the child is named after whatever I see. When your sister was born I saw a hundred buffalo running across the planes so I called her running-buffalo. When your brother was born I saw the river was swollen and glittered in the sun so I called her shining-water. Why do you ask, two-dogs-f******?

I heard the same with the punchline
"Why do you ask little-hole-in-rubber?"

How was it? Found mostly negative ratings on web. Better than at-least Quantum of Solace?
Anyway already booked ticket for Saturday.
Found this fan trailer of Pierce Brosnan's Spectre[^] last month. Surprisingly the editing was more than average & nice compilation.

It reminded me very much of the early Bonds: Dr. No and From Russia with Love. A lot of people complain there are no "gadgets", but the early Bonds and the books didn't have gadgets. Like the early Bonds the women play the helpless victims that Bond rescues. And there are a lot of those "unbelievable" moments, but they are in every Bond movie. There is even one point where you will say, "I know how he's going to escape this one" long before he does. But all in all I think it is worth your money to see it. I never liked Daniel Craig as Bond, but since SkyFall, he is starting to grow on me. Skyfall was better, but this one is better still than most of the movies since Sean Connery left.

Funny, my wife and I think that he is the best James Bond, ever. Sean, used to be, and is currently in second place.

I haven't seen the new one yet, but I have to agree. He plays the role well.

Well he does the role as it supposed to be the blunt intrument of British Goverment

Have you seen the latest movies at all? He does mostly what he wants without giving a sh*t about the government. He even has his own vengence agenda, which bond in the books never had...

#cough cough#
For Your Eyes Only - pure vengeance, okay it is for M's old friend's murder but this is personal.
The Hildebrand Rarity - he kills the antagonist out of pure hatred; again he is working to his own agenda.
The Spy Who Loved Me - unique in Bond's canon in that it is not told from his perspective but from the girl and, yet again, he takes on the bad guys without being asked or ordered but because he turned up at the wrong place at the wrong time.
You Only Live Twice - goes after the man [and almost woman] who murdered his wife.
Bond's barely suppressed violent streak is how Flemming built his character, his thirst for vengeance is what drives him time and again beyond the call of duty.

What i mostly love about Daniel Craig is that he is a bond that is vulnerable.
The other ones, especially Brosnan didn't ever get a scratch.
With Daniel Craig James Bond showed some action and not only the suitwearing superagent.
And finally the puzzle got completed

And yet, he is the only Bond under 6 ft.

Don't watch the movie!
Cuz, that'd be, like, *REALLY* boring!
Listen to the movie, too... you'll like it much better. Trust me!

I thought it was OK. Better than Quantum of Solace but not as good as Skyfall.
They had "borrowed" a LOT of elements from the older Bond movies, especially You Only Live Twice, On Her majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever.
Heck the villain even LOOKED like Charles Gray who played Blofeld in Diamonds Are Forever.
But all in all, it wasn't too bad...

May I recommend the the honourable gentleman try this[^]. Abso-bloody-lutely fan-elephant-tastic! I have this set and I recently read them all back to back. I love the films, pure escapism, but these are 1000x better.
