Even Chris isn't old enough to drink in most Western jurisdictions (he's 16 Codeproject years old), so any girl you're likely to find here will be WAY underage. 
IMAO, the best of both worlds would be a girl in the non-Codeproject world (AKA "real life"), and settling down here to a happy life of QA-baiting (for the room-temperature IQ crowd (*)) and article-writing (for the rest of us)

Whilst soliciting me to become his partner in defrauding the "multi-national animal vaccines production company in USA and UK" he says he is now the production manager of.
What to do ? So, I wrote back:

I promise you that "betrayal" will, indeed, be the least of what you can expect of me: I will give you apocalypse, helter-skelter, biological warfare, psychedelic chemical induced psychosis; I will create multiple identities using your name and identifying documents, and commit felonies using them that will be traced back to you.
As a demonstration of what I can offer you, I have, just now, hacked your credit ratins, and raised them so that I was able to use your credit cards to charge 100k US$ worth of luxury goods in seven different countries, and I have had false reports of domestic abuse, animal abuse, assault, arson, etc., incidents inserted into a newly created dossier that has been inserted into your local police (and Interpol) criminal databases. I have had warrants issued for your arrest on several charges including murder, and an all-points-lookout bulletin generated and distributed to all local and major media which warns that you are "armed and dangerous."

While trying to download driver from IBM website I am greeted with "Thy account does not exist " with specific message for Italy... It begs the question why Italian accounts specifically will have password expired.
Rome must have invaded Italy and taken over their passwords !!!

I'm not chuckling about the message - Im chuckling that you use Informix - wow, dude .. The Informix SE Database engine was one of the first I used way back when I started producing data 'cubes', on a Solaris Unix platform in c & c++ .. those were the days - it was a great experience

One of our ERP system uses it and I need to write some SQL to get data out of it. This is the first time I am touching informix so not sure what to expect. First step is to install driver and so far no luck getting it

If you have access to IBM Redbooks (and havnt already downloaded a copy, that was presumptious of me) download a copy of 'Informix Developers Handbook' IBM Redbooks | IBM Informix Developer's Handbook[^] - that might help - I havnt used it since IBM bought it, but IBM Redbooks were a vital resource back in the day when I had other IBM things going on (I used to run AS/400's)
Im not sure what platform you're running on, but we had so little issues with it, 'twas a pleasure to use - mind you, I started probably like you, no experience, so compiled and built most of the examples etc to figure out which way was up

Hello all,
I'm at my inlaws house... yes, this means... fun with computers!
They are paying a 300mbps optical fiber connection and they are receiving that speed upwards and downwards.
The computer that is plugged directly to the router is getting that speed and Works perfectly.
They have some DLINK 500mbps home plugs PLC connected to transmit that Ethernet to other rooms and computers.
The strange thing here is that they are getting a máximum 10 Mbps download speed and 38mbps upload speed in each room.
I know that more PLC devices means less speed, mixing types means less speed, but even if I plug only two of them the speed is behaving like that.
Is there any other way to send LAN through different rooms without using wifi? (it is clear that wifi is even slower). Without passing Ethernet cables through the house...
What would you recommend?
