I just read the header and figured sound of the week would be some sort of noise that encapsulated the state of the week. IT doesn't matter, I'm not that funny

Actually Sound of the Week is just my Song of the Week renamed.
Some people would question the definition of song almost weekly...

Nah, it's just that I have a Master in Acoustics, so I connect sound with different things than just music. Sound to me is everything that you can hear (or not); noise, music etc.

Yes, to me too! That's exactly why I choose it as a new description for my original Song of the Week. I can now post songs, aria's, instrumentals, noise, pop, rock, classical, extreme brutal goregrind death metal, whatever, without getting the comments "that's not a song!" or even "that's not music!"

Hi Sandor, I'm afraid one hangover the sixties left me with was an allergy to sitar music (the other allergic reactions include tie-dyed-tee-shirts, peace-
symbols, and the smell of ganja); yes, it's weird because I do enjoy the sounds of sarod, santur, sarangi.
I'm curious if you have seen Gotye and Kimbra's remarkable duet, "Somebody That You Used to Love" [^] ?
