So a coworker had this weird issue on a Windows Phone app.
Send a POST request to the server and get an (internal server) error 400 "GET is not supported."
Some debugging and logs checking later we found out that for some reason the body of the request was not logged.
Checked out the source code and it wasn't logged because it contained sensitive information.
Turned on the logging for this call only to find that there was no body at all...
Some Google-fu taught us that older versions of IE convert POSTs to GETs if the body is empty.
But why is there no body?
Now, some more debugging... Is the AJAX call okay? Are all values valid? Is something funny going on at the server application? Is the URL alright? Does it work on other environments?
Finally, two hours later, another coworker ask what URL we're posting to. http://something...
There's the problem, it's actually httpS or some internal network thingy does a redirect and empties the body converting it to a GET.
There goes four hours of productivity for a stupid redirect

I dont know for the rest you but where I live has gone from summer straight into winter. Two weeks ago we were using the pool, and yesterday we had a frost. It seems like its turning cold, and quickly.
The el nino we have had for over a year has also ended and the index has gone negative into la nina teritory: Quicky October 2016 ENSO Update | Watts Up With That?[^] and it cold be a big one, so might be a cold one! )Good for skiing though!  )

Here too, this night 3mm of frost on the car and it caught us all on surprise, the trains were almost all 30 minutes late presumably due to frost forming on the brakes.
I hadn't even prepared my usual alcool spray to defrost the windescreen and I was almost late trying to scrap the tough-as-nails layer of ice. And I had to turn on the heat at home at full Winter regime.

Luxury! What we wouldn't give to have a train service that ran only 30 minutes late!

Even on the rare occasions when they're not on strike, the staff are pulling sickies as a form of unofficial strike action, so most of the trains are cancelled to avoid having to pay compensation for being too delayed.

Same thing here. Consider that we have to take trains for distance usually covered by the tube in the other countries so we have, in the lucky palces, 1 train per hour on certain time periods then nothing. And trains are often cancelled at the last minute due to every kind of problems... also 30 minutes late on a travel that should take 75 minutes is a freaking lot, but today at least there were reasosn.
There has been weeks in which I ould take the train 2 days out of 5 and usually getting home 1-2 hours late... it rubs after a while. Plus in Spring and Summer all the Fridays there is, totally casually, a strike.
