What's wrong with ARM? It's a RISC processor, which makes it a pleasure to program even if you have to do it in assembly. The x86 programming model goes back all the way to the 8080 and often enough makes you feel as if you were back in the 1970s. Thank god we now don't use the Real Mode for very much anymore. Segments, anyone?

The vast majority of users will never even notice the huge differences between those processors. not even most of the developers, who would be too busy fuzzing over rules, styles and conventions in some higher languages to notice that they have another processor.

Where is the terrible part?
The user can't update the up: we update it for them (Choice in the CP poll)
