When you load it up now, it creates 3 different processes with a total of about 100 threads. Each page now has it's own process with about 45 different threads. That seams like an awful lot of resources to me. I don't know who architected it but that seems excessive compared to what it does.

Not that I have many add-ons but still figured wait till that gets sorted.

They've moved to WebExtensions, which means legacy add-ons don't work unless ported. Many have not been, some can't be and others can't be with equivalent functionality, since the old extensions model is more powerful.

Firefox is my default browser but, tbh, I never really notice these supposed differences in speed that the browser vendors tout. If they exist they are trivial in comparison to network latency or even just ease of navigation (e.g., Firefox's superior navigation in its address bar).

WTF of the day:

Down the road, he’s intending to build a rocket that takes him to space, so he can snap a picture and see with his own eyes.

Well, once he does take those pics, he'll undoubtedly come up with a theory of how as you go higher and higher off the surface of the earth, the atmosphere creates a sense of curvature, and of course needing to throw in Einstein, as all these new-age idiots do, they'll start babbling about space-time curvature affecting the camera lens.

A self-taught rocket hobbyist (not a scientist, dear AP News) is about to blow himself up, by the looks of it.
One needs to generate a lot of force, whilst encased in a metal container that is being dropped from a balloon. If the direction is wrong, all that force will be pointing towards the earth, not away from it.
