Well, when you're comparing node.js to ASP.NET or PHP, yeah, I can see how you can come to that conclusion.  That said, it's a challenge to strike a balance between the performance of the framework and the performance of the programmer trying to use the framework. And ASP.NET and others fail miserably there too, IMHO.

Did anyone watch the last 2 episodes of X files? I though the episode 2 weeks ago was tying up the series and ending it, then the last episode took a U turn back to post was McCarthyism andNazi scientists, so who knows what they have in mind?

So we binged the new Netflix version of Lost in Space over the weekend. Nicely made, decent fx but a poor retelling with more holes than a block of swiss cheese. I lost all those long hours I spent watching it - interminably slow, lackluster; the best/worst actor was the robot. Note: we ended up fast forwarding a ton of the really boring bits - how did we know they'd be boring? Any scene with 2 actors facing each other ends up being a crap fest of pointless talking that does not advance the story. Took nearly 10 hours to do what the original did in the pilot.
Less "Danger, Will Robinson", more "Danger - don't bother watching!"
