I have always been a fan of the bulky, robust Thinkpad machines. But of late, I'm seeing more people carrying the light weight "Carbon" models. I think they are pretty light.
Being light is okay but do they last long just like the usual bulky models? Or the longevity is compromised. I have a strong dislike for the flimsy builds. I can feel them even while plugging-in/out the USB/Network cables. And my notebooks even stands multiple accidental drops, I love them.
These lighter "Carbon" models though they are light, still carry the robustness? Any feedback please?

The light models can be OK depending on the gorilla's using them.
So far I of know a couple of Carbons going OK: 1 careful-ish manager 18 months and one sales girl 1 year - nary a peep.
OTOH 1 Lenovo Yoga with a also careful sales lady, 2 years old not doing so well- less than a year the PSU plug started getting dodgy and in particular the useless micro-HDMI (known problem) sucks.
Summary: carbons seem OK, but if you see yoga: run.

This year, I've participated in the AI and Machine Learning featured contest held in Feb-Mar 2018'. During the contest I've learned about Node.js, which is server-side javascript-based framework that allows to nicely and easily create various of web application and serves as an alternative to ASP.NET, PHP, and others. . Thanks a lot for the guidance. In my opinion, Node.js is the most powerful and high-performance framework I've used ever before . That's why, I've decided to deploy some useful Node.js modules and contribute them to npmjs.org repository.

Well, when you're comparing node.js to ASP.NET or PHP, yeah, I can see how you can come to that conclusion.  That said, it's a challenge to strike a balance between the performance of the framework and the performance of the programmer trying to use the framework. And ASP.NET and others fail miserably there too, IMHO.
