Went out for a drive in one the other day, it is a very impressive piece of engineering. From the moment you open the doors (push button, electric), to when you see the interior (how clean it is) you are looking at the future.
The reversing camera on the big ipad style central dash is of such high quality you can see everything clearly, and the over layed lines showing the direction the car will take a nice touch.
Then the performance. 0-100kmh in 4.7. And it is a wall of torque, not a build up, just seat slamming acceleration from the start.
Apparently they average about 200 miles on a refill, which isnt much worse than my ST with its 45 liter tank.
Of course it costs £75k, and for that kind of money you get a lot, but it is the car of the future. Instantly what you have is a cart horse. Outdated, form the last century. The Tesla is a 21st century car.

MacBook is hardware, Windows is an OS.
In OS-terms, Tesla is comparable to OS2/Warp. Good idea on paper, good marketing, lousy execution.
