I never really liked The Cult either (although they're not bad either), except for She Sells Sanctuary[^], which I consider one of the best songs ever 
And punk is probably my least favorite music genre.

For the most part, I agree with your assessment of punk. That album is not punk, though. I tried listening to other Damned music, and couldn't stand it.

Oh yes Queensrÿche is on my lists, my blacklist that is.
I guess my second least favorite genre is rock ballads followed by hard rock (which, surprisingly, is never really hard).
Maybe it's a tie with punk.

I agree with a portion of your statement, though, because most other Queensryche songs don't do anything for me. But some punk songs, that are done in fun, like "Pablo Picasso", from the Repo Man soundtrack, are great in their own way! (And some Iggy Pop songs are catchy.)
But you are wrong on one count: Gangster rap is far worse than punk!  It isn't even music.
