Coffee in the morning (2 Cups). Half and Half and one sugar. I like my coffee strong enough to allow me to see the future. 
Tea in the afternoon. Earl Grey. No milk/cream, and no sugar. Occasionally I will add honey.

Coffee should be strong enough that the spoon stands up until it dissolves. Saves having to take an iron supplement.

In work I use proper leaf tea (I currently have caddies of English Breakfast, Asam and Kenyan), made in a 2 pint pot with an in-built strainer. I use a large (1 pint) mug - china cups do not hold enough. I also do not use any of that milk or sugar rubbish - straight tea, strong enough to hold up a spoon on its own.
At home I have a similar setup.
As for coffee - it is the Devil's diarrhea and I will not have it near me!

Tea shall smell like an old harbour on a midsummer day, of tar and smoke. And it shoudl be as strong as the dockers. In other words: Lapsang Souchong that has been allowed to stand for between seven and ten minutes.
Then I must confess a mortal sin: I drink Lapsang Souchong with milk. Every tea expert in the world (with the possible exception of one or two Englishmen) says that you can have milk in your tea as long as it is not Lapsang Souchong. Yet I drink it with milk (but no sugar).
Tea is for evenings and weekends. Coffee is the working hours drink. It just "is there", in one quality or another. In the coffee corner, in the canteen. Quality varies from gruesome to tolerable - you drink it from habit, not for pleasure. Sometimes during the advent season, I bring my own coffee maker and coffee grinder to work, with a bag of Blue Java and some cardamom fruits so that we at least for a couple of weeks a year can have really tasty coffee in the coffee corner. (One cardamom fruit per full coffee pot, 3-6 seeds ground with the coffee beans, adds an aroma that fits very well with the slightly bitter Blue Java. Don't use more; it should add aroma, not "taste".)

Can't stand tea; weak, wet and insubstantial stuff. I drink about 2 cups per year, normally to avoid offense when offered by someone who doesn't know me and isn't a coffee drinker (so you can be sure that any coffee they make will be about 3 years old and disgusting), and occasionally just to verify that it's really as awful as I remember.
Coffee - I used to drink up to 8 a day (decaf, instant stuff). Have seriously cut back on that now, largely because I take sugar in coffee (used to be 2, now 1 spoonful). So now typically 3 or 4 coffees a day: 1 decaf on waking; then either 2 lattes when out in the afternoon (free refills a godsend, but 3 in one hour make me feel ill) OR a couple more instant decafs late morning and early evening. Having cut down on coffee I'm still struggling to replace it with other liquids so tend to end up dehydrated (like this morning, when I woke with a migraine having had just 2 coffees yesterday). Need to drink much more water. Am trying to achieve that currently by having warm Ribena...  takes me back 50 years but hey ho. Can't drink alcohol anymore as any amount at all gives me palpitations. Oh, the joys of getting older.

You should try double strength Lapsang Souchong that you let stand for ten minutes. I guess that is about as close to black coffee as tea gets...

Coffee, good quality coffee. I prefer to roast my own -- so much better than anything commercially available!
Tea? Earl Grey. I liked it long before Jon Luc made it popular. I also like herbal teas ... which, regardless of the name, are not "tea".
BTW, I prefer coffee black and bitter -- it sets the correct tone for my work day.

Neither. I prefer beer (Franconian beer with proper taste, not just bitter dishwater) or some nice mayweed tea. Not from Lipton indeed, there's way tastier stuff. Ice tea is cool though, you know, make a bottle of actual tea, cool it down, viola, ice tea.

I mainly drink Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice Herbal Tea, Caffeine Free: Cinnamon, Roasted Chicory, Roasted Carob, Natural Spice and Vanilla flavors with other natural flavors, Ginger, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cloves and Nutmeg. It may be weird, but is not fruity. It's the only tea that has satisfying body without requiring sugar. I can't drink much caffeine as my body does not process it well. When I do very seldom drink coffee, it is black, no cream or sugar.

Being a native Southerner in the US, I drink my tea as sweet iced tea (sweetened with sugar or Splenda). I do take hot tea with lemon juice and honey for the throat once in a while.
I like my coffee black, with milk or half-n-half, and Splenda.
If I really need a boost, I go for the 5 Hour Energy first. Then coffee, or Diet Mt. Dew Code Red over ice.

Coffee all morning, strong. Tea at 8pm, English Breakfast type. I used to love Earl Grey but now it tastes like dirt to me.
Very hard to find good plain iced tea in the US, most taste like liquid tree bark. The mango-papaya-raspberry-ginger concoctions are vomitous. Best to make my own. Luzianne brand is big in the Southern US and quite tasty.

I don't know what fruity teas you're talking about, but spiced tea is a southern US tradition. I can't stand more than a few sips of it, but most people here like it.
I don't do hot tea, except for various herbals.
Otherwise, it's coffee for me, black or with cream. Must be brewed in my Bunn at home, because there are no other coffee makers that do it right. None. Regardless of the price.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.

1) Here, tea is the preferred choice without any spoilers such as milk or sugar. All kinds excluding those mentioned by OP as those are not considered tea.
Good black Ceylon as a day starter, variety of greens for afternoon.
Evenings with a Goral or Original version of Tatratea (Drinkhacker review - Tatratea[^]). 
Coffee only as a digestion accelerator with a bunch of milk...
2) Porcelain cup is a must & strainer too
