my man will not eat pot roast, any mashed potatoes other than the box kind make him complain, and he hates gravy.
He would live off of corn dogs and macaroni and cheese if i let him.
I'm making steak and garlic red mashed potatoes and he can suck it up.
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

At least it's a step up from creamed chipped barf on toast. Or tuna noodle casserole. Blech.
The only way I found I could eat pot roast was when my mother would grind up the leftovers and mix it with mayo for sandwiches.

I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Noooooo! A good gravy is a meal on it's own ... fresh, good bread to soak it up ... ahhhh!
But that's proper gravy, make from roast meat, that has never seen a granule in it's life ... and unless you make it yourself, you'll probably never taste it.
And a properly done meat loaf / pot roast can be pretty good, again if it's made with real meat rather than "ground meat" that's propably mechanically recovered or 25% fat ...
Mash? depends on the potato - Marabel is good, "White" is bad. "Welsh Red" is elephanting terrible.

There are few things better than a good hunk-o-pot roast with gravy, I am very fortunate as my missus ![Heart | [heart]](https://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/Images/love.gif) makes a stellar pot roast.

I have to share mine with my father in law and one of my cats. Which is fine, I can't eat it all myself.
You should see my cat go at it. I give him a chunk and his little face lights up, and then he spends the next 10 minutes trying to eat it (i'm generous with it)
Poor thing - he loves people food but there's so much he can't eat. I don't mind sharing what I can with him. He appreciates it.

When it comes to my dog, 10ms is about right, even for fair sized piece in the rare event that I give her some. Apparently she's of the mind that the whole chewing thing is overrated.

haha, well odds are he's safe as we're both gay.  but yeah.
I usually make it when he's off on a trip somewhere. He likes canada. i could take it or leave it.
So a lot of times he goes. I stay and cook what i want.
