Well back in those days you couldn't openly admit to wanting to be penetrated from the rear, so you had to at least put on some show that you were trying to prevent it from happening.

[^] This is so crazy: all they have to do is send dogs to camps run by cats ... a few weeks of FBT (feline behavior training) will turn those mutts around from bark to purr

Crazy but, sadly, not surprising! They're American.
And it's been reported by The Sun. They can probably count this as one of their high points!!!

Not if you are keeping them on a leash and away from other dogs, right? Wasn't that the point?

Depends on the size of the dog.

I want to get on board and call this crazy but it's much less crazy than most of the other stuff going on right now.

I just set up a Jira free account using the Project Management Template so I could use the Kanban board.
I want to add columns to the board. I found this page, but on my site there is no more (...) > Board settings option.
I have given myself all rights that I could find. Anyone know what's wrong?

It is rumored, and I even think National Geographic did a documentary on this once, that JIRA was created by Satan and is still run to this day, by demons.
I used it once, once, and I didn't sleep for weeks after. Took many years of therapy and good booze to make it through. Just talking about it gives me the shivers.

Can you recommend an alternative?

We use DevOps (formerly TFS) for almost everything. Managing work tasks, user stories, bugs, etc. deployment pipelines. We do everything with Git and VS, via DevOps source control, blah, blah.
JIRA does have a few things for workflow that I like, but it is still like voodoo magick to me.
What are you really wanting to do with JIRA that DevOps would not be able to do?

I've used taiga.io before. If you're looking for something simple it worked well for me. The free is only up to 3 team members on a private project though, so that's a potential downside.
