940414 - Time sync over proxy in Windows required.

Hi In Windows 7, I'm using a proxy server to browse the internet. It just routes http packets. I need to keep the Windows time accurate and synced with global time servers.
What's my best solution?

The "best solution" to what problem? Get the time from a time server and sync up with it.

Check the settings on your Windows clock.

how do you say that? it's not in my mind. i've told it. time syncing is the problem. ok. but i should use a proxy server to connect to the internet. so the solution "settings on my Windows clock" doesn't work, because there's no way to configure it to use a proxy. it just works when i connect to the internet directly. another problem is that the proxy server just routes http packets, not ntp packets. so i can't use software which use this protocol.
you see that i had described the problem well.
the solution is to use htpd.

No as a matter of fact, you did not describe a problem at all. You did not try anything yourself, do any research yourself or ask a coherent question. I would think that someone that had been here for 11+ years would have found a tiny bit of time to read the FAQ at least once.

which FAQ u mean? maybe i didn't bring up a problem and i just exposed a question to discussion. but it doesn't mean that it needed any clearance.
