How can I get image that is viewed from a window. Not just capturing it using screen capture but need to get the original image.

Idea here is even the image is zoomed out/in or not whole image is displayed by being too big on its viewer. I can still get the whole image, this is one of the advance project that I'm making and this is partnered by an OCR engine.

Hope you get what I mean. Any idea appreciated. Any language from a tag or common languages used.

Thanks.

What have you tried so far? Have you googled "capture screen <insert language of choice>" to at least get some examples?

apturing screen just gives me image on my desktop. what if the image is bigger than its viewer, it will have scroll and capturing the screen will give me a cut image.

tried searching on google and this link has the same question without a solution

That is because it is impossible. You would have to know every image viewer and learn how to query it what file is currently shown. You can get the image of the screen. You cannot get it from paint, paint.net, irfanview, picassa, web views etc...

Well if that's the case, screen capture is the best way to do this. Just find a way to make the image fit to viewer.

Thanks anyway..

Without direct access to the full bitmap (image) by some means you are not going to be able to do this.
