How can I create a font for a car dot matrix printer?

I had a problem, I want to create an Arabic font for a car dot matrix printer, the printer brand is Intermec and it is not printing a fonts of right to left languages.
I do not know how and from where should I start. I searched in the internet about this subject, but I could not find the answer.
Could you help me please?

Solution 1

i'd start by reading the programming manual[^] for the printer

you may have issues with the R2L nature of arabic, so your print render may just have to print it from L2R
