[solved] how do i center a button in visual studio with gravity

So I am currently trying to center a button in visual studio, im following a guide since im pretty new to android development, and he is using the Gravity option, he changes it from " " to "1" and it centers the whole button, when i do it, it just changed the text position.

What I have tried:

I've tried following the guide, replaying it about 13 times to make sure I didnt do anything wrong, reading on google about the Gravity option, but no help.
