Can some body help me understanding exact difference between events and delegates

I have checked on google,

I found events declaration is part of class(like properties) but delegates are not required to be part of class.

i know how exactly both works but how to answer in interviews is difficult.

If you understand them exactly then you should be able to answer interview questions. However take a look at Introduction to Events | Microsoft Docs[^].
