I have sql sevrer 2012. Customer wants to upgrade the sql server from 2012 to 2016.
They just want upgrade advisor results before upgrade the server. can anyone help on this.

Solution 1

1) Backup.
2) Check prerequisites and add as necessary.
3) Pay for new version and download
4) Install - SQL will do teh work for you.

It should be pretty simple if you hardware and software matches the requirements.
