Error in online shopping project

Hai,

I has developed the online shopping project in c#.net web application.After run this project the error
" It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS." is coming.How can I clear this one.

Solution 2

If you have deployed the project in IIS,go to properties of your website->home directory.

Under home directory check whether you have created a application.If not create a application.

THis would help you in removing the error
