How to know that a report actually printed

Hello please i want to update a database field with true
when a report actually printed at the printer,
to avoid print it twice ,, as the user sometimes forget that he was printed it
and he want a confirmation that is already printed !!

You have to rely on users for that information as the hardware is not able to tell you.
