Password for .pfx file

Hi all,
I am stuck with a probelem here.
M new to a project and teh person who deve it is no longer here..
When i try to run the appl.. it gives me this message -
"This project includes a password encrypted key used for signing. Enter the password for the key file to be imported into the local crypto store database for use."

now my prob is i dont have any clue of what the password is or where to find it!

Any suggestions of how one can find it?

This is an impossible question, we have no clue about your application, what language it was written in, what cryptography it is using, etc. etc.

ok.. sorry abt skipping that. its a .net windows application written in C#.
I am not sure abt the cryptography question .. it is asking me for password for a .pfx file.

We cannot answer this question.

There are three things you can do:

1) Contact the employee and see if he remembers, and will tell you.
2) Examine the code are see if there is a clue there, or if a simple modification will bypass it.
3) Re-write the application from scratch using the existing app and / or code as a base.

Sorry, but we have no idea what your app does, let alone how it does it!
