I can't seem to find where in ssmse2k8 interface, after I've upped these files on their own database (successfully) using the wizard, how to automatically "save" the .mdf (& .ldf) in the DATA folder of that new directory. It's not happening by default.

Have been "tasking" my routine updates using the nice 2k8 wizard for so long I've forgotten how to do this manually. There's got to be a tick I'm missing, right?

(This solution in lieu of writing TSQL, of course ...)

[edit]

Have wandered across the solution. Seems all I have to do is "detach" the database, move it to the DATA folder, since it was an external temp from which the "attach" took place, then "attach" again.

The .mdf & .ldf were being updated; just couldn't see them because they were done so remotely.
