How to fix this issue in Box Backup project?

I have downloaded the open source Box Backup project and compiled it successfully, while executing i am getting "The procedure entry point for Createvssbackupcomponent is not loaded in VSSAPI.dll".

How to rectify this error to make box backup work?

Solution 1

Since it is open source, you are expected to debug it yourself. I would suggest you try and find out where this message comes from and either figure out why it is appearing, or provide some more details of what is happening at that time.

Perhaps you should consider signing up for the mailing list for box backup at:
http://lists.boxbackup.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/boxbackup[^]

The mailing list is probably the best place to ask for help with Box Backup.
