How to freeze multiple columns in grid view

We have a Grid View with 31 columns that are created dynamically using a template class inherited from

C#

Itemplate.

There is a requirement is to freeze first 8 columns and then able to scroll the remaining columns similar to excel spreadsheet.

We tried the option mentioned in the link below :-
The Freeze Pane DataGrid

But we were able to freeze the first column only along with headers. For multiple columns it is not working.

Please let us know how to implement this.

Your best bet is to ask in the forum below the article, as the author will know more about how he did it. Did you read the code to see if there was an obvious way to extend what it does ?
