hi all,

now i am to read the projectname.lic file in vs-2010.for that i opened my projectname.lic file,but it is in un readable format (hexadecimal format). i need to read this file(to reading purpose i want to open in notepad or word document but it is showing in hexadecimal format).please give to me any suggestion how to read a file.

It depends on purpose of reading. If you read it as binary, what's wrong with that? If you told us what do you want to see in it, or do you want to modify it, it would makes some sense.

Hi,

in case you're using RSA cryptography components from .Net (or the creator you got license key from used it to sign) this article should help you to understand reading it:

RSA License Protection[^]

Don't exactly know why you try to read it with notepad, it's crypted.
Ugly and unreadable for your eyes.
