download dialog box in html

Hi
when i use anchor tag for a file reference.

for example
"<a href="xxxx.zip">click me</a>"

I am unable to get the download dialog box. It is showning in a window.

can i get solution for it.

hi, you didn't mentioned if the window showing any error messages & which browser you tested. currently in all browsers there is options for settings while download.
(Ex. Firefox)
Option1. Save files to location C:\Downloads

Option2. Always ask me where to save files

so reset the browser settings and then try again. Also make it sure the file path is correct (xxxx.zip)
