how to create SEO frendly urls in asp.net.

in my site if i redirect to new page url become so long.how to short that url.

at present i am doing like this www.sitename.com/?companyname=hcl it will display hcl details
but i wants to give url like this www.sitename.net/hcl in ASP.net 3.5.
can we do with 301 redirection.

How it is possible Please answer If you Know

You need to generate
a. dynamic html
b. always have meta data
c. link your site with another site that has a higher rating in google/yahoo search.
