How to center my pages in all browsers

I have developed my project in google chrome browser. When I run the project in FF or IE , its
appearance is not centered and 1/4 of the page is hidden on the right or left side of the screen.
I have to use ctrl key and roll my mouse to fit in the page.
How to solve this problem?

My project comprises of master pages and content pages. I did it using asp.net c#.
When I run the project, the layout is well centred and itact and the appearance is fine.
When run FF or IE the look of the layout gets altered .
