in my application all products are associated to categories and these categories have sub categories and again they have sub categories or may not have sub categories , they may directly having products associated with them instead of having sub categories which may products with them . and I need a prepare a ssrs report like this ....
i need to select a category from a drop down is ssrs , based on the selection another drop down will populate with the child categories (or they may have direct products) and again from this category selection another drop down will populate with it's sub category as of now we 3 category drop downs where in for some categories they dont have sub categories and they have products associated , i need to populate these products in another drop down , if 1 select a category which dont have sub categories then products have to populate in products drop down ,the report should not give error msg about the other category drop downs , which are not populated as the parent category dont have sub categories , please suggest how i can design this kind of cascading parameterised report in ssrs
