I have static IP(that i bought), "203.###.###.###", . i keyin this IP into URL. it is ok. but now i don't want to type IP address in URL. so i need domain name. such as www.somebody.com. so how do i do? how do i connect with domanin name. pls, brothers and sisters guide me. :sigh:

i want to buy domain name and i merge with domain name and static ip.my static ip is behind the router.

Can't you see what the URL resolves to in the browser then using your cut/paste skills extract the www.xxxx.com part and save it to notepad or even just write it down on a piece of paper?

Go to that IP in your browser, and using the bifocal optical initialisation hardware attached the the primary bio-memory/processing unit installed in the multifunctional stabilisation and protection dome, observe and copy what is presented.

Let me translate that for you...

Use your eyes!

The browser will give you the address.

Now it may be a long address

blahblahblah.blahblah@someweirdaddress.com/lookyhere/anothersubdivision for example, but it will be there.

Buy a domain and set up the DNS using either their control panel or any alternative DNS provider such as http://freedns.afraid.org/[^].
