Personally, I can't see any reason why a man wouldn't want all of those things. I am not saying a woman should have to but if you remove the gender bias and replaced it with "things a Stay at Home Partner should do" (ie, some men are homemakers too) then it really does describe what a home maker should do, quite well.
Though, if you are a two income family, maybe you should car pool and spend the extra car money on an au pair instead.

That does seem off, the ability to approve articles and edit stuff (delete bad questions in Q&A, etc) should be gained by people marking trust in your judgement, not be obtainable by upvoting stuff.

However, I'm definitely not an upvote maniac. Most of those points I earned by downloading code and faithfully reporting spammers. Took me quite a while to get 1500, so maybe it's the participation that counts.

Yes, this is not a personal dig at your worthiness to moderate, but it does seem to me that this should be awarded to people for valued and well judged contributions in articles (and maybe Tips & Tricks and Q&A) – apart from the ability to farm upvotes to moderation status, how is someone going to know what makes a good article if they've never been through the process themselves?

You are now a moderator: so it's up to you to help us keep the quality of articles up - and if you think QA is full of morons, you have seen nothing yet! Some people seem to think that copying a paragraph or two from MSDN is an article, and worth the points...  And a few can get abusive when you tell them that isn't acceptable behaviour.
Be careful what you do, and remember: moderation is about helping people to post good articles - so polite explanations of what you think is wrong is fine, but abuse is bad. Except for obvious plagiarism, which is fair game...
Help people to produce quality, or persuade them that it's a tip: but don't just reject it because you don't understand what they are saying!

A man who has worked at a solicitors, as a solicitor, for 39 years suddenly decides that he no longer wants to be known as Mike, but wants to be known as Melanie.
Melanie has been on hormone treatment and is on the list for GRS soon.
Melanie has had trouble at home with the Hausfrau unt Kinder, unsurprisingly.
Then Melanie turns up at work in frock and make-up.

A friend of Michelle's is his secretary and has spilled the beans.
Now, I think that it is generally illegal to fire someone of the grounds of sexual orientation or gender reassignment.
Secondly, it seems foolish for a legal firm to do it, by breaking the law they could lose the right to practise.
Thirdly, and this is the really moronic thing to do, do not fire the firms TOP PROSECUTION LAWYER!
As 'Mike' this guy was sh*t-hot at suing people and companies and had earned a fortune for himself, the company and his clients.
Although 'Melanie' may be wearing a gold lame dress and a pair of slingbacks, that forensic mind will now be outside the tent pissing in!
