A man was driving when a traffic camera flashed.
He thought his picture was taken for exceeding the speed limit, even though he knew he was not speeding.
Just to be sure, he went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but again the camera flashed.
He thought this was quite funny, so he slowed down even further as he drove past the area, but the traffic camera flashed yet again.
He tried a fourth time with the same result. The fifth time he was laughing when the camera flashed as he rolled past at a snail's pace.
Two weeks later, he got five notifications in the mail, of traffic fines for driving without a seat belt.

I know this is a joke but I am still not sure how can camera trigger for seatbelt violation?

I am still unsure how it can detect black seatbelt in front of black jacket or scarf etc..

Strictly speaking it doesn't need a trigger for that. You could simply photograph every car that passes irrespective of speed. In time, if it's not already secretly in place, a detection device that automatically triggers cameras and other detection devices when the belt is not properly engaged will no doubt be an essential part of the driver's seatbelt.

Easy to circumvent: my dad hates seatbelts (fortunately he pressed me to properly use them and now I can't drive comfortably without them, except on hot summer days) so he engage them before seating. That way the weight sensor on the seat detects the driver, the engaging detector signals ok and that terrible buzzer stops beeping

Today i rode the first time this year by bike to get to work. Lungs were acheing and the pump was working faster. Only 3,5 km i have to ride but on the way to work i have some nasty rise to cope with. I feel im totally out of shape cause i needed ~23 min to get to work, the 2 traffic lights included.

It's also a question on how "cycle-friendly" your workplace is. I used to work for a company where they had on-site bike racks (even with video surveillance), changing rooms and even showers just in case so you could ride there in your bike wear and change into your suit or whatever appropriate clothing just for the workday. I'd call that really progressive, given the fact that most cars rides (I heard up to 95% here in Germany) are about 7 km or less(!), it makes sense to encourage people to go by bike instead of wasting fuel and a lot of time in traffic jams (which is pretty likely in the city where I live at the moment). It's good for your health, good for the environment.
To the original poster: I think it's always like that. The biggest obstacle is to get started, after all, but after you mastered that, it'll get better and better every day.

I am as fast on a bike as most of my friends who jogg. Seriously, they run 10km in less than 45min, I need about that much time to ride the same distance.

Take it 1 day at a time. If you can get 1 minute faster next week, then its a win and you're getting better. Don't despair if you're not better every time, but continue to measure and train, you'll get better!

Keep it up! I've been taking almost daily walks involving a long steep incline to get to a beautiful overlook of an amazing waterfall. I can now do the incline at a good pace, almost a jog, without getting winded.
