if the access not encrypted, the program can work well. that's mean for writing, reading the database. but if the access is encrypted, it get error just by running it.
did i have to install other thing other than access and visual studio?

i change it to:

cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@p2", now)

it shown error on my insert command

i change it to:

cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@p2", DateTime.Now.Date)

it only save date without the time
any help? i'm rookie on this thing

if i using microsoft.ace.oledb.12.0 that mean i have to change my access file to mdb?

i have tried that and it shown error on my sql command. it said "Could not find installable ISAM." when i run it with no password access, it can work. or did i have to edit my code too?
