@Richard. Another example. When elections are coming, just with a 10% of the vote counted, some TV channels show you charts where you can see what the final composition of Parliament will be like if those results remain constant. Is there a name for that?

@Richard Thanks, I get it. Following your example:
4 right out of 5 = 80%
4 right out of 5 + 1 right out of 5 = 5 right out of 10 = 50%
As you can see, the user has seen how their 80% score has been lowered to 50% even though the user has guessed another word correctly.
Is there some sort of prorratio or projection formula that I could apply, like what they do in the Eurovision contest where, based on the initial votes, you can see what the final score would look like if those percentages remained constant? Is there a name for that and would that be feasible in this case?

@Richard. Thanks again. That's exactly my point. I want the user to know their score as they are doing the exercise. For example, they finish the first exercise, and they have 4 / 5 right * 100 = 80. So, the user's score is 80.

Now the user starts another exercise and gets 1 / 5 right. Right now, what's his current score, taking into account that his previous score was 80? My point is that I want the user to know their score as they do the exercises, not just at the end. Is there a formula or algorithm for that?

Thanks a lot! Have you found the flaw in my logic regarding the second part?
