and i am able to play just copy paste this code in new .htm file and save it on desktop and rename your .wav file to a.wav and copy paste it to desktop and try if it works

use initial directory property of dialog box and give the path of temp folder

instead of it use compact edition database no need of sql server installation on client pc and no need of connection string directly give path like application.startuppath and keep db in application installation folder

is your javascript method inside aspx page or in separate .js file
for just testing write this code in your aspx page

it shouldnt give the file in use exception at the time of installation
coz in your set up project another instance of file is added so file will not be in use.

if it is asking you to save the document to the pdf or xps file save it and check the saved file. coz the same code worked for me. i am also not connected to printer open the saved file and check the file

take the component printDocument from toolbox from printing tab and drag and drop to your form and then double click on it

its working perfectly wid me
