The query i have that is used in the dataset is generating data like this;

Sex grade studentID
1 1 2009105012410059
1 1 2009105012410060
0 1 2009105012410063
0 1 2009105012410065

so in the rdlc i want to count all those with sex = 1 and are in grade 1 or vice versa, that is those with sex = 0 but are in grade 1. Like in the above sample i was supposed to get 2 for each sex

do you mean like this?
=iif((Fields!grade.Value <> 0 and Fields!Sex.value <> 0),count(Fields!studentId.Value),-1). This still returns the false part

but in the dataset/table these values(grade = 1 and sex =1) are there

no site is on port 80, i assigned each site a unique 5 digit port. i believe this is because iis is not working good. am trying to reinstall iis will update you.

ok! will do that. But in the iis manager when i open it, clicking any of the working site, viewing its application there is virtual path,physical path,site and application pool. But for these sites that are having problems dont have any corresponding data for these information. Noticed one thing for working site. their application physical paths are having for example C:\site\site while those not working are having C:\site and i cant add another directory to it. are this the problem with iis

but how do i know what is running on this port. i usually assign port for each site

Thanks Sandeep it worked, great. I also find a way to get what i wanted. I just needed a 3 decimal places,if this is multiplied by 100 it will displace two decimals hence i will have 1 decimal place

Arul R Ece thanks for your follow up,just executed in the wrong db, it works but on age am getting same age for all employees. May be this is because the field dateofbirth is an integer,it accepts year only like 2005
