its needs a variable.... see ..Get the sum or whatever u r expression result in some variable called variable1 and display in textfield(x) and after that use this variable as a parameter to the java class function which is for u r second textfield(y)... and after that it gave any error then check the data type or variable expression.

but i want to fill data from user and after that i want to disable the editing from table on button click event!!

if we have already my data in table then after i apply tablemodel at runtime can its work fine!!??

suppose we have an multi-user system in which i have one dashboard consider it as an grid in which i am showing values of table....if some other user updates that table in that case the dashboard grid should be updated as soon as the other user updates that table.

I'm creating Java application in NetBeans and I want my final application to have design named "Metal". I can set it, it's OK. But when I'm editing the GUI using "NetBeans GUI editor" I must work with typical Windows design. Is it possible to use "Metal" skin in editor too? Each design has different sizes of buttons, fonts etc.. So I'd love to see the final layout during editing. Not only after compiling.

ok..see..i have an jar files for look and feel of java...
when i am design the form in netbeans it not looks same as jar files look...
it only see in runtime.....

i want to see that look and feel(which containing in jars) at the designing...
